Had a lovely evening tonight with my fellow Greens candidates – we had a bit of a shin dig where we focused on policy, policy, policy.
One fairly significant thing that separates us from the old parties is that we have a suite of transparent policies that have been formulated using grassroots democratic principles through a process of consensus decision making.
That means we consult with community, discuss among our membership and provide input from branch level to state level to federal level. It’s a truly amazing process.
