Almost at Port Augusta. Most people are sleeping. It’s an easy thing to do on a bus. Helen, who is documenting the trip for The Greens, hasn’t filmed any of the journey yet. We’re not really allowed to stand up and move around at all. Plus someone always seems to be sleeping.
We heard on the news at our breakfast stop that about 1000 protesters are expected to converge on Baxter. I hope it is those numbers.
We’re driving through ranges. Apparently you can catch a glimpse of Baxter IDC from here at night. Wow. What a landmark.
